Tim Drake has been an integral pillar of the Farmhouse Vineyards story since 2015 & the inception of our wine brand. His career skill and vision is the very bedrock behind our highly recognized wine portfolio. With a winemaking approach rooted in structure, balance, and site expression, Tim brings a Northwest lens to West Texas-grown fruit, curating blends that are both bold and beautifully unrestrained.

Tim began his career in Washington State in 1999, first working in quality assurance for Ste. Michelle Wine Estates before moving into the cellar. Over the years, he refined his technique at small, high-end boutique wineries, gaining experience from cellar hand to Cellar Master and eventually to Head Winemaker.

In 2010, Tim and his family relocated to Texas, where he has since served as Head or Consulting Winemaker for several respected wineries across the state. His thoughtful, driven approach and deep understanding of the vineyard-to-bottle process have shape the identity of Farmhouse wines over the past decade. 

Though his wine making residency is with our friends & clients MRW, Tim remains the essential conductor in our winemaking process. His commitment to Texas terroir and the evolving quality of our region continues to inspire every vintage. Revolution is inspired by & dedicated to Spring Drake - whom without there would be no Tim.
